Warren on his 1968 Vespa GT

Here's a shot of me and my 1968 Vespa GT. I recently re-built the engine and with all new cables, it runs like new. I bought the GT about three years ago, sold both my cars, and ride that puppy year around! Of course, that duty will now be split with the Bajaj.

vespa

Yep, this is it.....the mother of all vespa sites! I broke an engine case at the main seal (Dont try and remove the seal retainer without the tool), last year, on my GT during a rountine engine re-build--I E-Mailed Piaggio for help in locating a VNL engine case and those people went out of their way to assist me! I was impressed. I finally found a complete VNB engine right here in Columbus with very few miles. I have located a welder to repair the half that I broke, so I can keep the GT all original--but will keep the VNB in it, since it performs so well--and why not--I'd never sell that machine, anyway.

gail and warren

This is a picture of my friend Gail Packer and me during a visit in 1996. Gail is a very well known printmaker in California and below is an example of one of her works, inspired by a trip to France. I own a real nice print and only need to make the wall space to display it. She approves of the Vespa!

Here's a shot of me getting back from a heart-pounding drive in Bruce's Trihawk! Believe me, that 3-wheeler's no toy...I felt like I was in a Turbo Targa!

vespa

This is such a great machine--starts on first/second kick in ANY weather--and the most dependable vehicle I've ever known, except for my Great Bajaj. One or two quick pulls on the starting lever and I'm off!!
